Obama Announces World Concert Tour

Faced with plummeting approval ratings and a stalled legislative agenda, President Obama announced today that he his taking of message of HopeNChange back out on the road, accompanied as always by his faithful backup singers.

"The recent television specials have been good," Presidential spokesdweeb Robert Gibbs said at the press conference kicking off the Obama's tour, "But he's always connected best with large crowds, especially when The Decemberists are opening up for him."

Pepsi and GulfStream Aerospace are the co-sponsors of the "Obama: Get In Their Faces Tour '09", which includes "Joe Biden's White-Collar Comedy All-Stars" as the opening act. The tour kicks off very soon and is expected to end abruptly in November of 2012.

Scheduled concert venues include Washington D.C., the Upper West Side, Cambridge, Oak Park, Beverly Hills and a command performance for His Excellency Harold Reid (D., Buffoon) in Las Vegas. All proceeds from the tour will go to the SEIU, DNC and AIG. Signup for tickets online at www.whitehouse.gov.
