Environmental groups are wrestling for control of the .eco Top Level Domain for internet addresses.

A few thoughts...

• It'd be hilarious to see them fight amongst themselves so much that allows someone like GE to step in and take it away from both of them.

• It's also very nice to see environmentalists acting like all the other religions before them. Look for someone to tack up 95 (Environmentalist) Theses on Al Gore's front door annny minute now.

• This lawyer stuff is booooring. Can they setlle this with Thunderdome instead? Or at the very least, something neat and spiffy like the opening to West Side Story. Please?

• I'd love to build a website about caving and put it up at eco.eco.eco.

Or better yet, have it be a mirror site about a mirror site about caving.
