"It's ironic that Alexi Giannoulias now claims to be an advocate for students when he lost $85 million from risky investments in the state's Bright Start college savings program.

"If Alexi Giannoulias had been a better steward for Illinois families' college savings, perhaps college students wouldn't need to rely as heavily on credit cards to pay for their education."
