Larry Summers, former President of Harvard and current chair of Obama's economic policy council has declared the recession over because (wait for it), people aren't doing online searches for fiscal-related keywords.

No, really.

"Of all the statistics pouring into the White House every day, top economic adviser Larry Summers highlighted one Friday to make his case that the economic free-fall has ended.

The number of people searching for the term 'economic depression' on Google is down to normal levels, Summers said."

Summers went on to say that relations between the U.S. and the former Soviet Union have never been better because of a recent uptick in searchesfor "Chat Online With Hot Russian Women".

P.S. That last sentence should lead to some interesting Google Ads popping up in our sidebar.
