To promote the new season of Mad Men, AMC launched a Web site where you can "Mad Men" your avatar. (Mine's to the right, natch.)

Set in Madison Avenue circa 1960, Mad Men captures the all-too-brief Era of Swank. It's what the '60s should have been: optimism, technological know-how and the advancement of liberty. Instead, we got multiple assassinations, ill-managed wars -- and worst of all -- smelly hippies.
