I am not a career politician nor am I a $1,000. dollar an hour lawyer. I am just like every other voter in this district, I drive a delivary truck for a minimal hourly wage. I sereved in the United States Military as an elisted man just as most do. Who best to represent the people than someone who understands what it means to be one of them. Not someone who has lost touch with the reality of today's problem.
On The Issues
The greatest issue in the 42nd District is, ' will there be a job tomorrow'. With our major industres packing up and moving off to Mexico each and everyone of us is worried about our job next. With Fleetguard moving off to Mexico what's to stop Averitt Express from leaving Cookeville and going off to Nashville with the jobs they provide here.
With a new Volkeswagon plant being built 90 miles south of us in Chattanooga, TN, I see no reason why we can not get a support industry here in Putnam County that will provide jobs and a reason for other business to want to stay. With jobs comes hope. A hope of providing for ourselves and for our families.
